There’s a lot happening here. It’s easy to get confused, and sometimes it’s just nice to have some clarity.
Here are some of the frequently asked questions.
- Do I need to buy something?
- No. You do not have to buy anything to participate. And buying stories won’t increase your chances of winning, though when you buy stories you are definitely supporting incredible authors who greatly appreciate it.
- Do I have to read all the books I include in my quest form before October 29?
- No. You can if you really want to, but you don’t have to. The main quests are designed so that you can complete them even if you have never read any of these stories.
- Can I include the same book in multiple quests?
- Yes. The book has to be part of the official lists of books on the quest pages, and you can only use it once per quest.
- Can I win more than one prize?
- No. In an effort to make sure that we get the prizes to as many readers as possible, you can only win prize. In the event, your name is drawn for more than one prize, you will be given the option of choosing which one you would like to receive.
- Is there a prize for being the fastest?
- Nope! We want this to be as low stress as possible. That’s why it’s random draw.
- Am I disqualified if I get one entry wrong?
- No. You just won’t get the point for it.
- Is there a prize for having the most points?
- No. Not this time. Perhaps another time!
- Are the prize lists finalized?
- There are still a few more authors who are sending in prizes. And then we’ll be giving out great big thank yous to all the authors who contributed in various ways. What is listed will go out though. The prize lists may just increase.
