- A new, discounted, or free book.
- Upcoming releases and new books up to 90 days old (at the time you send in the form).
- Books discounted below their normal price.
- Books priced at $0.99 or less.
- Free books.
- In one of our FaRo categories:
- Epic fantasy romance
- Urban fantasy or paranormal romance
- Gaslamp or fantasy of manners
- Monster romance
- Or any of our wide range of categories listed here!
- A professional cover, blurb, and reviews. See our tips for success.
- A one-time share. The first time we feature you, please invite your readers to subscribe to our newsletter. This helps us grow our community and create more promo opportunities for everyone, all while keeping FaRoFeb completely free! A signup link and promo graphic will be provided, or you can use an image of your choice. For future submissions, sharing on social media is appreciated but optional.
- A new, discounted, or free book.
- Scheduling:
- Our newsletter goes out on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.
- We limit the number of titles in each email so we don’t overwhelm our readers.
- You’re welcome to submit pre-orders, and we’ll schedule you as soon after your release date as possible.
- If we’re unable to feature your book during your new release or discount/freebie dates, we’ll do our best to place it as a featured book on another date.
- We may unfortunately have to decline your submission if all available slots in our schedule are full or if we feel your work is not the right fit for our audience.
Tips for Success
We accept new authors who are still building their platforms as well as successful career authors, so don’t self-reject! But do present your book baby to the best of your ability.
What we like to see is that an author is taking their endeavors seriously and actively pursuing their professional goals, even if they are just starting out.
Here are some tips to help your book succeed in our newsletter and elsewhere.
- Provide complete and accurate info on your form. For example, if your book link is broken or we can’t tell if your book is our genre, we may have to decline.
- Have a professional, genre-appropriate cover and blurb. Please note that we do not currently accept books with AI-generated covers.
- Have a professional author website or social media presence.
- We don’t have a minimum review or ratings requirement, but we do look at the overall picture of how the book has been received by readers. Consider having an ARC team or using an ARC service to gather reviews.
